Run by Lionheart and Yandiah, HorsePower promotes personal growth and well-being through safe, guided interactions with horses. Participants learn a number of skills such as communication, confidence and leadership in a flexible and supportive environment.

Location & Schedule

Join us at a scenic 40-acre farm at Yandiah in Burua, just 15 minutes from Gladstone. Session available Tuesdays and Thursdays amidst rolling farmland, where you can immerse yourself in a peaceful and natural environment.

Fee’s and NDIS

This program accepts both NDIS funding and non-NDIS payments.  

Meet Maria.

HorsePower Trainer

Maria grew up in a small town in Northern NSW, where her love for horses and the charm of farm life blossomed. Her journey has taken her from droving cattle along Queenslands Warrego Highway, to show jumping. But her true passion lies in natural horsemanship, where she explores the intricate bond between humans and horses. Believing in the lessons to be learned through this connection, Maria has dedicated her career to helping others - often working with children and adults with various barriers in school and community settings.

Now partnering with Lionheart and Yandiah, Maria brings her compassion, expertise and holistic approach to the HorsePower Program.
